ROB James and Paul Goodwin took the honours on Saturday as Knypersley beat Longton away.
Knypersley 1st X1 dismissed the home side for 139, and their second victory of the season leaves them in third spot.
James was Knypersley's top wicket taker on the day, ending with four for 35 off 14 overs.
Knypersley's top batsman was Goodwin, the number four ending unbeaten with a vital knock of 54.
Knypersley opened with 194 for seven declared off 59 overs.
They made a good start, Jon Cumberbatch and Darren Butler putting on 51 for the first wicket.
They were edged out by Kim Barnett and Goodwin, the pair hitting 52 for the third wicket.
Runs were hard to come by on a very slow wicket, and Knypersley progressed to 169 for four before losing three wickets for the addition of only six runs.
Butler scored 28, Barnett made 22 and Cumberbatch hit 20.
Longton were bowled out in reply in 47 overs, losing men regularly, their best partnership adding only 32 runs.
They lost their first wicket with the total on 22, and Lonwabo Tsotsobe ended with figures of three for 56 off 16 overs.
Barnett claimed three wickets for 28 runs.
Knypersley took 24 points to six for fourth-placed Longton.
They are third in the table, five points behind Leek and 11 off leaders Burslem.
They are at home this Saturday to fourth from bottom Moddershall.
