THE British National Party is targetting Alsager in the May 1 elections to the new Cheshire East Council.

Three BNP candidates are standing for election to the new unitary council, which comes into being next April.

Hoping to win a place on the council are Matthew Bee from Shady Grove, Alsager, Steve Davies from Linley Road, Alsager, and Lee Carbutt from Bank View, Goostrey.

The trio of BNP candidates are challenging the three main parties in the Alsager ward.

Congleton Borough has seven of the 27 wards on the new council, and three councillors will be elected from each.

Cheshire East Council will bring together Congleton, Macclesfield and Crewe and Nantwich Boroughs and Cheshire County Council.

Contesting Alsager for Labour are Robert Ashley and Kathleen and Neil Clarke.

The Lib Dem challengers are Rod Fletcher, Derek Hough and Shirley Jones, and contesting the seat for the Conservatives are Bill Finney, Peter Kolker and Lynn Stocks.

There are seven candidates in Congleton Town West and East.

In the West ward Conservatives Gordon Baxendale, Roland Domleo and David Topping, Lib Dems Margaret Gartside, Keith Heron and Jeanne Whitehurst and Lisa Bossons for Labour.

In the East Conservatives David Brown, Peter Mason and Andrew Thwaite, Lib Dems Linda Hemsley, Denis Murphy and Tim Muston and Robert Boston for Labour.

Conservatives Rhoda Bailey, Andrew Barratt and Andrew Large are standing in the Sandbach East and Rode ward, against Lib Dems Elsie Alcock, Trish Barlow and Knud Moller, Bill Howell for Labour and John Cliff.

Can someone please tell me where Alsager is,? Bet there not swamped with immigrants yet , so no doubt the BNP will not do very well there yet.!! Gordon Brown and his Marxist side kick Livingstone are on a grand tour touting for Islamic votes in every London mosque to get red ken re elected, after that it’s the polish community.
There are now an estimated 2 million foreign votes up for grabs in London alone and growing, so seeing as labour allows them all in Bingo. The indigenous British are fading rapidly in London, Britains capital city and they have lost the race, so when all the Alsagers ?? go to the polling stations better think BNP it’s later than you think.

So how do you explain the Labour landslide in the 1945 General Election ? Returning service people had seen extremism and hatred at first hand and made thier views clear at the Ballot Box. Not sure what you thought pre-1939 looked like but it's a strange place to want to return to.

Once again we see big publicity for "BNP aim to target local council seats" in an area.

Four years ago the BNP turned up in Crewe for a by-election. They claimed to be "neck and neck" with Labour, and were about to make a huge breakthrough.

And what happened ? The Lib Dems won the seat; Labour second; BNP and Conservatives way behind in 3rd and 4th.

And now the "neck and neck" BNP have disappeared from Crewe - not a single candidate this year.

This is a democracy (thank God) and people can vote for who they like - but the real battle in Alsager is going to be Lib Dem or Tory.

"My forefathers fought to defeat Facism in WW2"

Exactly, they all wanted to defend their countries amazing heritage and culture from foreign invasion! so I don't think they would have approved of your desire to allow the Islands of Britain to follow a course to become a future Islamic or extreme Secular socially Marxist snooping state, where Indigenous Britons (their own grandkids)find themselves in a minority in many areas of towns and cities. What an insult to their memory.

THe May elections are about showing your support for the only party which has the backbone to physically do anything - the BNP. All the rest are wafflers and bluffers, talking a lot of hot air and delivering nothing the people of this country really want.

The BNP is the only party which truly represents what the majority of brits really feel. We are not nasty people but we will have our country back from the claws of the EU which the liberal brigade want to surender to. And immigration must be seriously curtailed. No job, no entry and definitely no benefits! I do not go to work to pay taxes to go straight to trendy leftie causes.

Alsager needs Labour representation on the new Cheshire East Council. This Labour Government has put unprecidented investment into health and education, witnessed by the new Health Centre in Alsager and the forthcoming rebuild of Alsager School. I urge everyone to vote Labour in the coming elections so that Labour can continue the good work.

Bob Ashley,
Labour Party Candidate, Alsager.

Johnny (Half)Foreigner, From Alsager, wondering exactly why my mother is so scary we need the BNP to "save us" from her? says...
12:18am Fri 18 Apr 08

George Deighton and Basil Brush, brits weren’t the only ones fighting for freedom from tyranny in WWII. My (Malaysian Chinese) grandfather fought in an anti-Japanese guerrilla unit in Malaya, armed and trained by the British, and was proud of it til the day he died. Later he sent my mother to Britain because unlike Malaysia (where racism is enshrined in the constitution) he admired Britain as a civilised, liberal and above all fair country where he knew she’d have a better life. My mother worked as an NHS nurse from the second day she was in the country. She’s the kind of immigrant the UK can’t do without – but that won’t matter to the BNP, she’d be just another yellow skin to them.

Bert, if you don’t want your money to go to “trendy leftie causes” I take it you're not a fan of the NHS?

Bob Ashley,
you are hardly an advertisement for Labour's educational achievements. "Unprecedented" is one of the most over-used words in the politician's vocabulary; how are we to trust someone who can't even get that right?

It's been two weeks since I posted above, and I'm still waiting for someone from the all-new, relaunched, caring, sharing, non-fascist BNP to respond and tell me my fears are misplaced, the BNP isn't racist, and that integrated, settled foreigners and mixed-races have nothing to fear from a BNP council. Funny that, isn't it? I also know for a fact this page is linked from the BNP website, so I'm sure a few of you have seen my comment. I dare any one of you - maybe one of your bright young things from Alsager itself - to give me that assurance.
