Biddulph Warriors v Sandford Hill All Stars - Mill Hayes sports field, Knypersley, Sunday - area cup round one.
On a freezing Sunday morning up at Mill Hayes, Biddulph Warriors took on Sandford Hill All Stars in the Area cup under 10`s Ladsandads.
From the whistle the Warriors were dominant, Peter Jackson and Stefan Nowicki holding firm at the back linking play with great passes to the midfield trio of Thomas Kelsall, Owen Hulme and Dale Kelsall.
The football at times was fantastic.
Ryan Brookes scored with a corker, closly followed by 2 from Thomas(tomo) Kelsall.
Half time 3-0.
Substitutes Liam Hall and Callum Burnett came rushing on, wanting to get into the action, which they did instantly, with goals for Liam Hall, Dale Kelsall, Owen Hulme, and two for Thomas "tomo" Kelsall.
The Warrriors won the first game 8-0.
The weather doesn't know whats it doing - cold, warm, cold - fortunately the Warriors did, with quick goals coming from Dale Kelsall and Ryan Brookes, soon to be accompanied by a goal from Tomo.
Defender Callum Burnett also pops up with a blinder. Half time 4-0.
Callum Burnett is going for it big time, and scores another screamer - nothing is stopping him now.
Then comes along Thomas Kesall, the interplay is excellent - three goals in quick sucession.
Daniel Maskrey makes a fantastic save to keep a clean sheet.
Then Owen "ace" Hulme breaks to score the final goal.
The Warriors win 9-0.
All 9 Warriors did more than expected with 9 man-of-the-matches.
The Warriors now move through to the next draw of the area cup, a cup they failed to get the hands on last season after finishing runners up to Kidsgrove Athletico.
This year the Warriors may just see their name on the cup.
