Allen misses out on number one spot

Lily Allen has narrowly missed out on a number one with her song from the John Lewis Christmas advert.
The singer's cover of Keane's Somewhere Only We Know sold 12,000 fewer copies than 17-year-old Dutch DJ Martin Garrix whose debut single Animals went straight to the top spot.
The ad features a bear and a hare in a cute animated woodland tale, with Lily's soft tones providing the soundtrack. The £7 million advertising campaign has also led to Keane's original version from 2004 climbing 74 places to re-enter the Top 40 at number 29.
DJ Martin Garrix, whose catchy dance tune is already a hit around the rest of the world, said he "didn't expect this success at all".
He said: "I made Animals as a club record and seeing it chart so high worldwide and especially a number one in the UK was really beyond my expectations. I will definitely celebrate this with my parents, friends and at school."
The official single of this year's BBC's Children In Need, Ellie Goulding's How Long Will I Love You?, is at number three while Eminem's former chart topper, The Monster featuring Rihanna, dropped two places to number four.
Lady Gaga bagged her third number one album with Artpop, pushing last week's bestseller, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 by Eminem, down to number two.
The second-highest new entry is from Celine Dion, who is back with her 11th English-language album and first UK top 10 hit in more than a decade. Loved Me Back To Life is at number three and is the Canadian singer's highest charting album since 2002's A New Day Has Come.
Little Mix's album Salute is another new entry at number four, while fifth place was taken by the king himself with The Nation's Favourite Elvis Songs.
