Naomi Campbell has said she doesn't like to be called a supermodel any more because "everyone and their mother is called a supermodel" these days.
The 43-year-old model - who has been working since she was 15 - rose to fame as one the elite squad of supermodels in the nineties - who included Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista, and were said to not get out of bed for less than 10,000 dollars a day.
But Naomi said: "To be quite honest, today I don't know if I want to be called that name because everyone and their mother is called a supermodel and I'm like, 'OK, I'm just a working model.'
"I never believed in that hype. It's a name and yes I say it for promotion but it's not what I deeply think inside of myself. I feel that I'm just a model who loves what I do."
Naomi is now helping other girls get into modelling by working as a mentor on talent show The Face.
The model - famous for her fiery temper - said she has not problem with being labelled a b***h as she believes it is a term given to all powerful women.
"I think when women get called a b***h is when they're taking control, when they're strong, when they're being assertive," she said. "And I've always said it, men can do that and it's fine. So, I mean, you have to have that b***h aspect. You just do, because you'll be trampled on if you don't."
