Daniel Radcliffe has said he loves working in theatre and is having a great time on Broadway.
The Harry Potter star played a lead role in The Cripple Of Inishmaan in London's West End and is now taking the play to Broadway in New York.
He told Du Jour magazine: "Broadway is an amazing environment to work in as an actor. People talk about it all the time, but it's a new experience every time, and the community aspect of it is brilliant and amazing and unexpected to me. I love to hang out after shows."
He continued: "I don't remember something ever going so wrong on the stage that it ruins a show. Even if you do screw up, that's one of the exhilarating things about being on stage - people jump in and help out, and you always get through it.
"On film if you do something that you're not happy with and that tape gets used, you're stuck with it and then there really are no retakes."
The 24-year-old revealed: "I fell over in the middle of a dance number, like really badly and obviously at the front and centre of the stage. And, of course, that doesn't feel great. You're like, wow, I looked like an idiot right then. But you don't stop, you still get to the end - and that number was still really good.
"Nobody's experience was made less entertaining for one of the actors taking a tumble."
But Daniel confirmed his love for theatre wouldn't see him swapping film sets for treading the boards permanently.
He said: "It was what I grew up in. I feel like if I had to do one thing forever, that would be it."
