Frankie: Being working mum is hard
The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford has admitted being a working mum is not easy.
The 25-year-old singer became a mum to son Parker in October last year, and will take him on the road with her when she and the rest of the band - Una Foden, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King and Vanessa White - go on tour in September.
Frankie told OK! magazine: "I think everyone's different and they've got different ways of coping.
"If you're on the outside looking in on someone else's life it's easy to presume that it's perfect and they have it under control, and I don't think everyone is. You just have to take it day by day.
"I do feel like Parker gets enough time with me, but I still feel guilty."
Bandmate Rochelle, who is mum to one-year-old Alaia-Mai said she tried not to put herself under pressure about being a working mum.
She said: "Go with it and try to relax. I feel I have a good balance, but a lot of thought goes into it.
And Una, who is mum to two-year-old Aoife, said: "When I'm not working I spend all my time with Aoife. For me it's really fun to go home and do things like go to the zoo or park with her because she's so young and experiencing things for the first time. I get to be a kid again."
