Delay in Justin Bieber driving case
Justin Bieber's case on charges of driving under the influence and resisting arrest has been delayed.
Prosecutors and the pop star's attorney told a judge at a hearing in the US today (July 16) that they need three more weeks to determine whether the case goes to trial or is resolved with a plea deal.
Another hearing was set for August 5.
Baby singer Justin was arrested on January 23 in Miami Beach after what police described as an illegal street race between the star and a friend.
Alcohol breath tests found the 20-year-old's level below the 0.02 limit for underage drivers but urine tests showed the presence of marijuana and an anti-anxiety drug.
Justin was also charged with driving on an expired licence.
The star did not attend the hearing.
