Celine Dion remains upbeat over her chances of getting pregnant again despite her recent disappointment.
The 41-year-old singer was told that an in vitro attempt for a second child had failed when it emerged the embryo had not been implanted successfully.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Celine said she and husband Rene Angelil would continue with the treatment and had even been given the green light from their eight-year-old son.
On the recent difficulties she had to face, the singer said: "It's not like, 'Oh my God, she's not pregnant and she's depressed'."
She added: You know how it works. We are great. We hope for the best, we hope to get pregnant. If it happens, it happens."
Celine told Access Hollywood that she had to tell her son Rene-Charles that after thinking he was to have a baby sister or brother, things didn't go to plan.
"He was looking at me and he said, 'Are you going to try again?' I said, 'Yeah, we are going to try again.'
"He knows exactly what we are doing, so he's great."
